FUNCTION 1. MAINTENANCE OF THE SANITATION OF THE ENVIRONMENTS

Atomic3 Air was developed to GUARANTEE the presence of ozone in the environments, without exceeding the values indicated by the ACGIH. The device is equipped with an ozone sensor that detects variations of 0.01 ppm and is able to intervene on the production of internal ozone. The setting of the intervention threshold of the O3 sensor can be changed by password, to adapt to the limits indicated below. For heavy, moderate or light work, but carried out in a time span of less than 2 hours. – the TLV-TWA is set at 0.2 ppm, equal to 0.39 mg / m 3. For work done beyond two hours: – light work the TLV-TWA is set at 0.1 ppm, equal to 0.2 mg / m 3. – moderate work the TLV-TWA is set at 0.08 ppm, equal to 0.16 mg / m 3. – heavy work the TLV-TWA is set at 0.05 ppm, equal to 0.1 mg / m 3. Calibration: The annual calibration of the sensor(s) can be done with a password.

FUNCTION 2. SHOCK DISINFECTION TREATMENT

By programming from the display it is possible to activate the “shock treatment” function. In this function it is possible to set a precise intervention time band where: – The sensor trips when the set maximum threshold is reached. – Ozone generation is managed by the “operating percentage” setting. – A red LED, a text on the display and an acoustic signal warn of the ongoing SHOCK treatment. – A membrane button and a remote button control stop the shock treatment. Once the Shock cycle is over, the machine automatically returns to the maintenance mode. The shock treatment time depends on the size of the environment to be sanitized.

Annually the ACGIH (American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists) proposes and updates a list of Threshold Limit Values ​​(TLV) for the numerous substances. These limits were developed as guidelines to assist hygienists in controlling exposure to chemicals in the workplace and not for use as a legal standard. In general, the ACGIH recommends that exposure to carcinogens should be kept to a minimum. • TLV – TWA (Threshold Limit Value – Time Weighted Average): Limit value for long-term exposures, also called Weighted Limit Value. It represents the average concentration, weighted over time, of the pollutants present in the air of the workplaces during the entire working shift and indicates the level of exposure at which it is assumed that, in the state of current scientific knowledge, the worker can be exposed 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for the entire duration of the working life, without being affected by harmful effects on health. The use of ozone complies with H.A.C.C.P. hygiene standards and on the protection and safety of workers (Legislative Decree TU 81/08)
